l Feel Love was a radical breakthrough. It started as an album track on 'I Remember Yesterday', an album that producer Giorgio Moroder originally planned as a mini-tour through dance music history. It’s potential as a dance track was quickly realised, the original three and a half minute version was extended and, by the summer of 1977, it was destroying dance floors all over Europe with the US close behind. A year or so later, Patrick Cowley extended it to a full fifteen minutes and basically invented dance music as we know it today.
