'This Charming Man' was the band's second single, replacing 'Reel Around The Fountain'.

The 1972 film 'Sleuth', starring Laurence Olivier and Michael Caine provided the line 'a jumped up pantry boy who never knew his place' and Johnny Marr, although apparently a little bemused by the lyrics, wrote the guitar part in twenty minutes(?!) while the band were preparing for a John Peel session.

Marr was said to be envious of the success label mates Aztec Camera were enjoying and thought the group needed a hit after the disappointing reception to their debut, 'Hand In Glove'.

Printed on 250 gsm matt paper the poster is available in three size and frame colour options, black, white and wood.

The frames we use are made from solid wood, sourced from a sustainable forest.
