Recorded in December of 1964 and released early the following year 'A Love Supreme' had enormous personal significance for Coltrane. In the spring of 1957, his dependence on heroin and alcohol lost him his job as saxophonist in Miles Davis' band, fired straight after show when his playing had become erratic and unreliable.
'A Love Supreme' was presented as a spiritual declaration that now he was clean, his musical devotion was intertwined with his faith in God.
Printed on 250 gsm matt paper the poster is available in four sizes and three frame colour options, black, white and wood.
The frames we use are made from solid wood, sourced from a sustainable forest.
