Hanging On The Telephone was originally released by a little known West Coast group called The Nerves.

The group had recorded one ignored EP in 1976 and then disbanded.

Two years later The Nerves songwriter, Jack Lee was broke and about to have both his phone and electricity disconnected when Debbie Harry rang asking if Blondie could record the song for their third album, Parallel Lines.

It was a top five hit and Jack never had to worry about paying the bills again.

This Hanging On The Telephone poster is available in three sizes is printed on 200 gsm silk paper and comes ready for framing.
