When The Waterboys main man Mike Scott had the initial idea for the song, he wasn't yet contemplating the vast amount of knowledge that exists in the universe - he just wanted to impress his then girlfriend. The starting point came when his girlfriend asked him if it was easy to write songs. Unable to resist the urge to show off, and with a full moon in the night sky, he pulled out a pen and paper and wrote down: 'I saw the crescent, you saw the whole of the moon.'
Mike's girlfriend was duly impressed.
Printed on 250 gsm matt paper this The Whole Of The Moon poster is available in five size and three frame colour options, black, white and wood.
The frames we use are made from solid wood, sourced from a sustainable forest.
