It took a couple of attempts for the band to get the song right with Martin Hannett, the first, at Central Sound Studios wasn't considered good enough so the band tried again at Stockport's Strawberry Studios a couple of weeks later and recorded the version that was released as Fac 13 later on that year.
Peter Hook has been quoted as saying that he realised it was the first truly great song the band had written, when, at a soundcheck everyone stopped what they were doing in the venue to listen to them play it. It's certainly one of my favourites and was one of the first songs I learned to play on the guitar.
Printed on 250 gsm matt paper the poster is available in four size and three frame colour options, black, white and wood.
