Wigan Casino was the daddy of all the Northern clubs.
It ran from 8pm to 8am every Saturday and, before it closed and the crowd stumbled out into the sunshine (if they were lucky) the djs would always play the same three songs that became known as the 'three before eight', the last of these being the record featured in the print, Dean Parrish's 'I'm On My Way.
