Wigan Casino was the daddy of all the Northern clubs and Gloria Jones 'Tainted Love' is the mother of all soul records.

It was originally recorded as a B-side in 1964 but failed to make any kind of impression on either side of the Atlantic.

Some ten years later DJ Richard Searling bought a copy of the single while on a trip to the US and it went on to become one of the biggest records on the scene.

Owing to the new-found underground popularity of the song, Jones re-recorded "Tainted Love" in 1976 and released it as a single, but it failed to chart again.

In 1981 synth duo Soft Cell covered it and it went on to be the best selling single of the year.

Printed on 200 gsm silk paper this Wigan Casino poster is available in three sizes and comes ready for framing.
